I always get so many questions regarded in hair growth, “how can I grow my hair faster, longer, and stronger?” Today I want to tell you about my tips, and hopefully, they will work for you. Although hair growth is always pre-genetically determined, it can be harder for some than others, but today hopefully these tips will be very beneficial.
Get Enough Sleep and No Stress
My number one tip is to get plenty of sleep and stay stress-free. Occasionally, if you have a lot of stress, it’s going to disrupt your hair growth cycle, and in turn, your hair will fall out. Staying stress-free as much as possible is very beneficial. Getting enough sleep is very important; it’s going to reduce stress, and that’s when your cells are going to build and repair.
My second tip to promote hair growth is to increase the blood flow to your hair follicles. And basically how you can achieve this is by giving yourself head massages with your hands or also using a product like a scalp invigorator. What it does, it has a vibration mode, and you pair it with shampoo in the shower and massage your scalp all over, and it’s going to help increase a blood flow to your hair follicles, and promote thicker hair. Your fingers can only get so close to your roots. So, something like this device has these little slits, and they’re going to get right down into the bottom of the root, and to get away any of those dead skin cells and interchange them with new ones. That promotes more hair growth. Aside just from hair growth, this thing just feels amazing. It’s 100% waterproof, so taking a shower, pair it with your favorite shampoo and conditioner, and just go at it. And it’s going to feel great, and it’s going to be amazing for your hair, and you will notice the difference.
My next step, which is number three, is to use essential oils like coconut oil, argan oil, olive oil. All these different essential oils will be ideal for penetrating the roots; they’re going to make your hair look a lot fuller and also a lot shinier because you’re reintroducing oils after shampooing it, get rid of all the oils. And that’s why your hair looks so dry. You can apply that once a week.
My next tip is to stay hydrated. Drink lots and lots of water. As you may know, our bodies are made up of almost all water – 80%. Staying hydrated is essential for a living and an overall healthy lifestyle. So, make sure you keep your diet in check. Stick to things like eggs, chicken, yogurt, walnuts; things that have a lot of vitamins and proteins, iron, omega- 3 fatty acids. Foods of that sort that will keep your diet in check and promote healthy hair and hair growth.
Use Less Heat
The last tip is to minimize blow-drying, which I know can be hard for us guys, who like to style their hair all the time. So, if you’re going to do that, make sure you use a heat protectant. It’s going to be essential in reducing hair damage.
So obviously if you are going to be styling your hair, sometimes you’re going to be using tools like a brush. I would recommend a flat brush or also known as paddle brush because they’re wide and they reduce the risk of pulling any hairs out, ripping any hairs. So use something like that.
