Twin Rivers Shag Club's "Shagging for a Soldier" event in 2007:

TRSC did a fundraiser to help finish a home being built for a soldier badly injured in Iraq. The fundraiser was called  "Shagging for a Soldier".   It included shag dance lessons, a silent auction and an evening shag dance. The event was a lot of work for those who volunteered to help. It brought us closer together as a club.

Pictured above is Eric Edmundson and his family along with members of Twin Rivers Shag Club that worked on the event.

Andy Metts is helping to teach the Shag Dance at the event.

Sylvia Anders (far left) teaching at the fundraiser. She taught three large classes the basic step and some turns.
